Ten angry men
The Australian composer Brett Dean has signed an exclusive agreement
with music publishers Boosey
& Hawkes/ Bote & Bock. As also a professional viola player he
has been a member of the Berlin Philharmonic since 1985, which has offered
opportunities to be involved in new music premieres as soloist or chamber
ensemble player.
There's also a streak of wry humour to be found in Dean's title for a
piece written for the cellists of the Berlin Philharmonic: Ten Angry
Men.
