Lawrence Budmen

A native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Lawrence Budmen is a former cellist and teacher. He has attended hundreds of concerts, operas and dance performances around the globe.

As a freelance writer and music consultant, he has written reviews for numerous publications including the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, South Florida Entertainment News & Views, Miami Herald, Coral Gables Gazette and American Record Guide, and was Florida correspondent for Music & Vision between 2003 and 2011.

He has also been program annotator for several concert series including Sunday Afternoons of Music, Miami International Piano Festival, Symphony of the Americas and the Boca Raton Symphonia.
