Mirian Conti

Born in the north of Argentina, Mirian Conti is an Argentinian / American pianist based in New York City. She studied at Juilliard with Richard Fabre and Josef Raieff, and also with Genny Blech, Freda Rosenblatt and Byron Janis.

Conti specialises in a wide range of often eclectic repertoire, performing internationally and recording. On over twenty CDs she has recorded piano music by many composers, including Ernest Bloch, James Cohn, David Diamond, Morton Gould, Katherine Hoover, Benjamin Lees, Vincent Persichetti, Philip Ramey, Lalo Schifrin, Joaquín Turina, Michael White and Samuel Zyman.

She also gives lectures and masterclasses on the music of Spain. Since 2007 she has been on the Faculty of the Evening Division at Juilliard.
