Terence Charlston

Terence Charlston is a British harpsichordist, organist and clavichord player, specialising in early instruments. He was born in Blackpool, Lancashire, and studied music at Keble College, Oxford, where he was an organ scholar.

He was a member of London Baroque (1995-2007) and Florilegium (2011-2019). He is co-editor of English Keyboard Music c1650-c1700.

He is chair of historical keyboard instruments at the Royal College of Music in London, where he teaches harpsichord.

He has helped to guide the young vocal ensemble Amici Voices and has guest directed most of the group's concerts and recording projects.
