Lucy Gould founded the Gould Piano Trio whilst studying at the Royal Academy of Music with György Pauk, where she was awarded the Queen's Commendation for Excellence. She has performed much of the concerto repertoire with orchestras such as the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, Bournemouth Sinfonietta and the English String Orchestra, and has been invited to lead the Academy of St Martin-in-the-Fields, Hallé, BBC Philharmonic, BBC National Orchestra of Wales and the Scottish Chamber Orchestra. She is a member of the Chamber Orchestra of Europe where she holds the position of principal second violin. Based in Cardiff, she teaches at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.
