CRD Records Ltd

CRD Records, based in Truro, Cornwall, UK, was founded in 1965 by Graham Pauncefort, originally as an import and distribution company. The company's own first releases were made in 1973, at which time Simon Lawman was appointed artistic director. He was responsible for the company's recordings until he died in 1986. The distribution and recording businesses were split in 1974 and the distribution company was sold to a European investment company in 1978. The recording business continues to seek out new artists and record interesting and neglected works.
