Vec Makropoulos

Vec Makropoulos, known in English as The Makropoulos Case or The Makropoulos Affair, is an opera by Leos Janácek, written between 1923 and 1925, and based on the play of the same name by Karel Capek. It was first performed in Brno on 18 December 1926, conducted by Frantisek Neumann.
