Peter Reynolds
Welsh composer Peter Reynolds was born on 12 January 1958 and studied in Cardiff. He lived in South Wales and from 1998 until 2009 was artistic director of the Lower Machen Festival.
He founded the PM Ensemble, and, with writer Simon Rees, wrote the world's shortest opera, The Sand of Time, which runs for less than four minutes.
He also taught at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.
Peter Reynolds died on 11 October 2016, aged fifty-eight.
