Iberian and Latin American Music Society

ILAMS (the Iberian and Latin American Music Society), a society based in London, promotes the classical music of the Iberian peninsula (Spain and Portugal) and Latin American countries. It has arranged first UK performances of many important Iberian and Latin American works.

The society was founded in 1997 by a group of classical performers, musicologists and music journalists. The founding committee included The founding commitee included Lionel Salter, Gerald Crowson, David Walton, Clara Walton, José Luis García, and Enrique Pérez de Guzmán.
