Sounds in the cloud

Spherical Editions is pleased to announce that a wide range of pieces by English composer Robert Hugill (born Cleethorpes, 1955) is now available online. The works include song cycles (Farewell, Love, setting the Tudor poet Thomas Wyatt, He Wishes ..., four poems by W B Yeats and Four songs to Texts by Ivor Gurney), tone poems and concertos.

Hugill's concertino for bassoon and strings, Duino Angel, is now available for cor anglais and strings and in a reduction for cor anglais and piano. Crossing, a setting of two Rabindranath Tagore poems for choir and organ is also available.

A selection of live archive recordings is also available for listening.
