Server downtime
Music and Vision apologises for the server downtime which hit our online magazine this week. After two good years of work, our server went quiet on Monday 6 July and never came back online. We provided a limited emergency service for our subscribers later the same day, when it became apparent that things wouldn't be back to normal quickly, and this ran until Thursday 9 July, when we switched over to a newly configured machine, populated with the 14 gigabytes of information which makes up sixteen and a half years of M&V. Everything should now be back to normal except for our daily email alert and password reset services, which haven't yet been reconfigured, but they should return in a few days' time. If you happen to notice any other oddities, please let us know.
