Indeed Eternal 'Symphonie fantastique' and 'Le Carnaval romain' - enjoyed by ROBERT ANDERSON '... much to admire ...'

Bruges, with its soaring bell-towers, is one of the loveliest European cities. Whether the new Concertgebouw building, jagged in outline and presenting a sullen face to the world, enhances it much I rather doubt. This concert hall shows little respect for its surroundings, and one can only hope that the acoustics are as admirable as its appearance is disappointing...
