The seventh Klavessiinfestival held in Tallinn, Estonia,
attended by PETER HOWELL
The long winter was almost over and the flowers were breaking through in time for the International Harpsichord Festival [8-11 April 2010]. Tallinn is a beautiful mediaeval fortified city that was an important Hansiatic port. It would be difficult to find a place quite as photogenic as Tallinn. The clean nature of the advertising graphics contrasts with the rugged stonework of the massive fortifications. With a population of only 400,000 people it is compact and easy to get around...
