This eclectically balanced CD includes some fine organ music which is played with substantial panache by Soohwang Choi, a multi-talented organist who is actually new to my ears.

She plays the Frescobaldi works with a deft touch although I would have liked more speed in the Toccata Quarta which comes across as a little pedestrian. However she recovers admirably in the De Grigny pieces which are rare delights, especially the Dialogue sur les Grands Jeux which sounds quite ravishing on the Rieger Organ...
