Composer's Authority? J S Bach transcribed for guitar - heard by ROBERT ANDERSON '... consummate skill ...'

The title of this CD is a misnomer, as Bach wrote nothing for guitar. His lute corpus, though, is considerable, including six solo works (all of them better known in versions for keyboard, violin, or cello) and lute parts in both the John Passion and a Funeral Ode. Nor do I quite understand the front cover to the booklet, on which a very serious but delightful nun is apparently clasping a precious volume of poetry...
