Happy New Year! It is a pleasure for me to have been invited to compose this little MIDI fanfare; I believe this new online magazine to be an excellent idea and a valuable resource for the many musicians anxious for responsible musical writing on the net. As many know, the Cadenza website, created and maintained by Keith Bramich, is already proving helpful to so many people; and hosting the Basil Ramsey Programme Library is providing a valuable amenity.

Music & Vision considerably extends the net facilities for serious music information and writing. I as a composer look forward to its success and steady development.
