Fedora Barbieri
The Italian mezzo Fedora Barbieri died on 4 March 2003 aged 83. Born in Trieste on 4 June 1920, Barbieri sang at La Scala, The Met and Covent Garden, had 110 roles in her repertoire and made many recordings.
