ends its season on a high,

Derby Chamber Music ended its current season on not just one high, but two (Multi-Faith Centre, Derby University, UK, 16 April 2010). An appeal, launched six weeks before, to raise the money for DCM to buy the piano it was previously hiring, in order to secure the society's long-term viability, has overshot its target by some distance.
So it was a fitting end to the season to have the Aquinas Piano Trio playing to what was probably DCM's largest audience to date...
