Violinist Laura St John plays Mozart's Violin Concerto No 3 in a programme with Beethoven's 4th Symphony on 1 December 2010 at the Tennessee Williams Theater in Key West, 2 December at the Amaturo Theater, Broward Center in Fort Lauderdale and 3 December at the Lincoln Theater in Miami Beach, Florida, USA. Pianist Barry Douglas is soloist in Brahms' Piano Concerto No 2 and Sebrina Maria Alfonso conducts Vaughan Williams' Fantasia on a Theme of Thomas Tallis and Khachaturian's Masquerade Suite on 28 January 2011 (Key West), 30 January at the Kravis Center in West Palm Beach and 1 February (Fort Lauderdale).

The SIMA Trio joins South Florida Symphony musicians for sextets by Ellen Taaffe Zwilich and Brahms, with J S Bach's Brandenburg Concerto No 3 also being performed on 2 March (Key West), 3 March (Fort Lauderdale) and 7 March (Miami Beach). The season concludes with Adam Golka playing Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No 1. Alfonso conducts Zwilich's Symphony No 5 and Shostakovich's Festive Overture on 29 April (Key West), 1 May (Fort Lauderdale) and 2 May 2011 (Miami Beach). See www.southfloridasymphony.org
