In the English Piano Trio's concert for Derby Chamber Music (Multi-Faith Centre, Derby University, Derby, UK, 16 March 2012), Beethoven's 'Archduke' Trio had the first half to itself. The Trio captured a nice feeling of relaxed strength in the opening movement and found an underlying serenity in the third movement variations. The other movements were less successful...
