Here is a cleverly selected programme of 15 eighteenth century lied: three each by Haydn (1732-1809) and Mozart (1756-1791) and nine from Beethoven (1770-1827). All songs are performed by Mark Padmore, accompanied on the fortepiano by Kristian Bezuidenhout.
