Born at Bury, Lancashire, UK on 1 December 1937, Gordon Crosse sadly departed the music scene after years of growing success. His 1965 Changes for chorus and orchestra was widely applauded and performed. There was a good deal of chamber and orchestral music, most of it performed with interest, but by the early eighties his decision was made.
