Antonin Reicha

Antonin Reicha was born in Prague on 26 February 1770. He studied composition and the flute. He spent much of his life in Western Europe, some of it playing, and much of it composing and teaching composition, especially at the Paris Conservatoire. It was in Paris that he died on 28 May 1836.
