The Unexpected
A descendent of Johann Sebastian Bach (through Johann Christoff) died March 2000 in Canada, aged 91. John S Bach took an early interest in choral singing as well as the violin, viola, and the organ. A reader has unexpectedly discovered mention of a Benjamin Britten living in the early 1900s, a poet of modest accomplishment with no family link to his illustrious successor.
