AOL billionaire donates $10 million

James V Kimsey, a co-founder of the internet company America Online, has given $10 million to Washington DC's Kennedy Center. Some of the money will help endow the National Symphony Orchestra's principal tuba chair. Another portion will fund a scheme to allow students to attend a performance at the center. Kimsey is a Kennedy Center trustee, chairman of the National Opera and sits on the board of the National Symphony Orchestra.
