A campaign to save the classical music programming of Miami-based radio station WTMI appears to have been successful. New owners Cox Radio (the 5th largest radio company in the United States based on net revenues) have taken note of a huge response from the local community (who even set up a website www.keepitclassical.com dedicated to preserving the station's classical content), and announced on 14 June that WTMI will remain the classical music station in South Florida.
