MBE for Geraldine Auerbach
The Queen of England's birthday honours list includes an MBE for Geraldine Auerbach, founder of the currently running International Jewish Music Festival, and director of the Jewish Music Institute at London University. Auerbach has organised ten festivals, striving to earn a place for Jewish music in British musical life.
