Victor Braun
Canadian opera star Victor Braun, who sang on many of the world's top stages, died suddenly in Brussels on 6 January 2001, aged 65. He won the 1963 Vienna International Mozart Competition, and work at the Frankfurt Opera began his celebrated international career.
