A new international documentary film about German baritone Thomas Quasthoff premièred at Vienna State Opera on 10 October 2004. The Dreamer, by Michael Harder, lasting one hour and 45 minutes, traces the most significant stages in the career of the singer who fought both his own disability and prejudice from the music industry.
