Ryan Garber

American composer J Ryan Garber's compositions Resonances and Kettle Music have been released on commercial CDs. Resonances for solo piano (played by Mark Hussung) has been released by Capstone Records of New York on the CD Resoanant Edges. The CD also features music by Bruce Hamilton, Jason Haney and Paul Osterfield. Kettle Music for 'virtual electronic timpani' has been released on the VoxNovus label as a part of 60x60, an innovative collection which features sixty composers and their compositions - each sixty seconds in length. Garber's music is performed in a variety of venues in the US and Europe. He is Associate Professor of Music at Carson-Newman College in Jefferson City, TN, where he teaches composition, theory, organ and bassoon.
