David Lee's first orchestral experience came playing for Sir John Barbirolli and the Hallé Orchestra whilst still at school in the late sixties.
From 1970 until 1997 he went on to perform as principal/co-principal horn with the BBC Scottish Symphony, the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, the London Philharmonic Orchestra, the BBC Concert Orchestra and the Royal Opera House Orchestra, Covent Garden.
Chamber music is equally important to Dave. He has performed at Wigmore Hall and the Purcell Room and recorded widely: recitals, film and television soundtracks...
