Thanks for your inspiring and thought-provoking columns in 2011, for all that good advice, and for being Southeast London's most vibrant classical music agony aunt, even though you don't seem to have had the most inspiring of years in the one just ended! Loved the Rubinstein story about Enescu and Cortot.

Agree with you 100% about the Cello Wars light bow sabre video -- only the brief flash of Chewbacca playing a real cello and Darth Vader's solo accordion flash mob are at all funny...
