Derby Cathedral Choir has established a pattern of singing J S Bach's St John Passion every two years.
This year's performance (Derby Cathedral, Derby, UK, 6 April 2012) began with an alert, thoughtful account of the opening chorus, which set the tone for the whole, and was matched by the choir's singing in the final chorus.
