Sinfonia Viva's annual schools' residency took the centenary of World War One as its subject this year (Assembly Rooms, Derby, UK, 4 March 2014). An eleven-piece ensemble from the orchestra was joined by students from Derby's Beckett and Arboretum Primary Schools, Derby Community College and Derby College for Dark Clouds are Smouldering into Red.
