The Innovation Chamber Ensemble at Buxton,

The Innovation Chamber Ensemble comprises the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra's principal string players. Seven of them were at the Buxton Festival for a programme of two late romantic masterpieces framing an eighteenth century one (St John's Church, Buxton, UK, 13 July 2014).
Their opening to Schoenberg's Verklärte Nacht was sober but charged with expectation...
