Clarinettist Christopher Stripp and pianist Lucy Colquhoun have fine track-records as individual players; as a duo they have evidently built up considerable rapport.
Their wide-ranging programme (Derby Chamber Music, Multi-Faith Centre, Derby University, 17 October 2014) opened with Saint-Saëns' Clarinet Sonata, one of the three wind sonatas he wrote in the very last year of his life.
