One can sense the brilliance of this sensational pianist from the very first notes of the Chopin Piano Concerto. The interview with James Jolly that constitutes the boklet notes is as humble and self demeaning as you would expect from Freire, but there's no denying the incredible impact he made when launched on the scene...
