Dutch label Pentatone's December Celebration SACD features new carols and sets of carols by seven living American composers. Inspired by Gordon Getty's contemporary carols, Pentatone invited 'a group of American composers to celebrate the season in music', with Pentatone's season specifically including Hanukkah, the winter solstice, Christmas and New Year's Eve.
