Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart wrote these concertos when he was a mere stripling of nineteen years of age but it really does not show in the musical inspiration that's on offer. The Third Violin Concerto is perhaps one of the most famous, and with Henning Kraggerud's cadenzas, the music certainly comes to life in more ways than one.
Comparisons are in order in the Fourth Concerto where luminaries such as Anne Sophie Mutter and Jascha Heifetz have perhaps found more weight and drama in this wonderful work...
