Gerald Moore
Gerald Moore, who became a supreme piano accompanist to the finest singers of his age, from Kathleen Ferrier to Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau, was born in Watford, England, on 30 July 1899 and died in Buckinghamshire on 13 March 1987. His accomplishments also included lecturing about his art, and several remarkable books.
