Gift subscriptions

Music & Vision Magazine is offering a very generous subscription package until the end of 2011. The normal price of a one year M&V subscription (since August 2011) is 21 pounds, but if you're an existing paid up subscriber with a subscription length of at least a year, or you subscribe before the end of December 2011, then we'll give you an extra gift subscription for a person of your choice.

To take up this gift subscription offer, just contact us and provide the email address of the person you want to make the gift to, plus a short optional personalised message from you to accompany the gift, and tell us when you want the gift subscription to start. (If you're not yet a subscriber, please sign up first.)

If you read M&V less often, you may have missed out on some of the other improvements we've made recently :

- Video clips in DVD reviews from August 2011 onwards use a larger resolution format. You can read the latest DVD reviews here.

- From July 2011, we have increased the rate of CD and DVD reviews published, so that (on average), you can read a CD or DVD review every other day. Our latest CD reviews are here.

- From January 2011, and where available, photos in some of our articles - mostly opera reviews - are now available in high resolution versions, which allow you a closer look at, for example, the sets and costumes of productions reviewed. Here's an example. To see the larger resolution images, just click on one of the photos between the paragraphs of text.

- In October 2011 M&V received its first article sponsorship. Article sponsorships are explained here, but the main feature of a sponsored article is that the full text (and any associated media files) can also be read by those who haven't yet subscribed to M&V.

- Since May 2010, we have been providing a customisable alert service, which allows subscribers to receive emails about the articles we publish - as often as one each day, or as seldom as one every ninety days. To set up alerts and start receiving emails regularly, visit your preferences page (subscribers only), which you can access from the subscription home page.

If you're not yet an M&V subscriber and would like full access to articles published since December 2009 for both yourself and a friend, you can sign up here.
