Superlative Performers

A buoyant divertissement
of eclectic items -

'... a true delight ...'

Reflections - Dave Lee, horn; Geoff Eales, piano; Andy Findon, flute. © 2011 Wyastone Estate Ltd

This buoyant divertissement of eclectic items encompassing folk favourites, music by legendary Kansas-born jazz saxophonist, Charlie 'Bird' Parker (1920-1955) and theatrical highlights by Baron (Andrew) Lloyd Webber (born 1948) is thoroughly enchanting from start to finish.

The three British musicians of 'ELF' trio, Eales, Lee and Findon, are at the top of their game and wholly dazzling across a broad sweep of genres: theatre, TV, film, jazz, superstar shows, Latin, early music, minimalism, classical, folk, cabaret and clubs: New York's Birdland and London's Ronnie Scott's.

Indeed, listing international 'star' performers Geoff has not worked with, seems to me a far simpler prospect than troubling to compile a encyclopedic cavalcade of instrumental and vocal entertainers he has been billed alongside.

The year 2005 brought Geoff exciting concerts in Italy, France and Spain followed by a twenty-five-date tour of the UK with a trio comprising former Soft Machine bassist Roy Babbington and drummer Mark Fletcher.

Flautist Findon is a veteran of London's West End theatres, working tirelessly on musicals of Andrew Lloyd Webber, Stephen Sondheim, Claude-Michel Schönberg and others...
