On this occasion 'portrait classics' seems something of a misnomer. Nowhere in the booklet is there any mention of John Lill's achievements, let alone any picture of him, young or old. It is unmistakably Rachmaninov who appears reasonably enough on the front cover. It would surely have been worth mentioning that Lill was joint-winner of the Tchaikovsky competition in Moscow during his early years...
