Born in Philadelphia in 1903, Vittorio Giannini was lucky to be part of a great musical family. His parents were both professional musicians and two of his sisters were opera singers. Dusolina was indeed one of the world's leading sopranos during the 1930s and 40s. Today Giannini is best known as an excellent teacher, having spent decades in such eminent schools as the Juilliard and Curtis institute...
