With very little information provided for this CD, it is difficult to know quite what is going on. Clearly David Sherr, the CD producer and performer on all but one track (that a 1'11" introductory performance of a Bach Aria from Cantata 56 by the 1950s vocal ensemble The Bach Aria Group) is the leading light. He is supported by seven instrumentalists and a group of voices, all involved in the biggest piece on the disc .....
