'The Tales of Hoffmann' from The Met in HD,

On 11 July 2012, the Desert Ridge AMC theatre in Phoenix Arizona showed an encore performance of the Metropolitan Opera's HD transmission of Les Contes d'Hoffmann ('The Tales of Hoffmann'). It was originally seen live on 19 December 2009. From the very beginning of this performance, regular attendees of the Met Live in HD could notice that far more of the images seen were taken from a camera at stage level, near the feet of the singers. Now, in 2012, the images sent out to the cinemas across the world are far more varied and interesting...
