Suave and Polished

This was to have been Derby Chamber Music's contribution to the Britten centenary celebrations (Multi-Faith Centre, Derby University, Derby, UK, 8 November 2013), but the quartet originally booked had to pull out because of illness. Though it required a complete change of programme, the society was lucky to find a replacement at literally a couple of days' notice.
