Beautifully Presented
The Heron Piano Quartet,

The Heron Piano Quartet gave an excellent performance last Saturday [15 March 2014, Ripley Arts Centre, Bromley, Greater London, UK] as part of the Ripley Recitals Association series. This newish group, consisting of four twenty-somethings all rushing about doing lots of different things (as one would expect — though not perhaps that the violist is currently studying in Germany?!) still succeeding in putting on a well-rehearsed, beautifully-presented recital of piano quartet masterpieces.
They opened, perhaps inevitably, with the Mozart K478, which featured lean, clean textures and a sense of effortlessness...
