This interesting disc on BIS features a distinguished group of musicians playing on period instruments. It is the brain child of Doona Agrell, who plays on a circa 1820 bassoon. A septet by Berwald, a quintet by Edouard du Puy and a quartet by Berwald are performed.
I know the Berwald Septet, having heard it a few times...
