Yasmin Rowe was born and grew up in Yapton, West Sussex, UK, and started playing at five, first taking lessons with Nina Levtov. At local festivals she won plaudits over a six year period. Then, at ten, she won the Arun (Arundel) Young Musician of the Year. A Music exhibition by West Sussex Country Council allowed her to attend the Junior Academy in both solo and chamber music, where she won various awards, and she boarded at Chetham's School of Music from 2005, studying piano with the legendary Bernard Roberts...
